A distinguished private residence in Manhattan is seeking an exceptional Housekeeper to join their household team. This full-time position is best suited for a highly polished, service-driven professional with extensive experience in formal private homes. 

The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who takes pride in delivering an immaculate environment and understands the standards required within a high-end residence. This individual will demonstrate discretion, attention to detail, and a natural ability to anticipate the needs of the household while working seamlessly alongside other staff.

Maintain the residence to an impeccable, five-star standard across all areas, including the care of fine finishes, furnishings, and delicate materials
Execute daily housekeeping duties, including detailed cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and overall organization
Perform deep cleaning of all living spaces, ensuring a consistently pristine environment
Oversee all aspects of laundry and wardrobe care, including washing, pressing, steaming, folding, and seasonal organization of closets
Manage incoming and outgoing dry cleaning with precision and organization
Ensure the residence remains orderly, comfortable, and guest-ready at all times
Collaborate closely with household staff and estate management to support smooth daily operations
Monitor and report maintenance needs promptly, maintaining the integrity of the home
Assist with household inventories, including pantry organization and stock management
Provide light service support, including casual meal service, elegant table setting, and coordination with the chef for refined presentation
Greet guests and visitors with professionalism; assist with phones, messages, and household communication as needed
Run errands and procure household and personal items for the principals
Provide light pet care, including feeding, watering, and walking as required.

Minimum of 5–7+ years of experience within formal private residences
Strong command of English, both written and verbal
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Demonstrates a team-oriented mindset and works well within a staffed household
Extensive knowledge of luxury home care, materials, and garment handling
Flexible and adaptable with scheduling, maintaining a service-first approach
Polished, professional presentation and demeanor
Proven ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a dynamic environment
Exercises the utmost discretion and maintains strict confidentiality at all times
Legally authorized to work in the United States

An excellent compensation package is offered, commensurate with experience. For a candidate who exemplifies the highest level of skill, professionalism, and discretion, compensation will reflect the caliber of expertise brought to the role $40-$55 per hour with annual bonus, full benefits and PTO.
